The Cub was flown Sunday, Monday and Today and flys' as good as it ever did. The Cub decal is on it's way.

We recieved the prop the other day and had to order new bushings for it. The prop was installed today and Dale will fly it tomarrow if the weather is any good.

Here is some more of the progress. It is basicly finished except for the Cub decal and the prop. It is sitting on the gear now and has been "pushed" by itself to make sure it tracks straight and it does. It was even washed today thanks to Darrel.

We will fly it when the prop gets here. Any one have a parachute?

Here are some more pics of the repair process along with some of my son in law doing the welding. He is a certified welder so I was able to use his expertise while he was here at Christmas. Tomarrow Dale will paint the black stripe and start on the repair of the old battery acid damage that is on the tail feathers. The prop will be here in about 6 weeks. It should be ready to fly by then.

Painted the fuselage white in prep for the yellow. The landing gear is ready to install. The prop has been ordered and should be here in four weeks. It should be ready to fly by then except that the engine installation kit came in today for the RV so the priority will now shift back to it. DH

Sanded down the tail some more to get out the rough spots and repair lines. Painted the first coat of yellow on the gear. DH

Here are some more pictures of the repair process. It is going a little slower now because we can only put on a coat of silver a day and sand it the next. The temperature has to be "above 55 deg or it wont dry till spring". Doug
